When you use Server Side Includes (SSI), is index.html then use that you can use. All site files must be at the root of public_html () directory. The server looks for shared files, when you rewrite the code in the file. Page Htaccess choose a different name.

Your web server can be configured to a different file name as the home page HTML Process

Probably looking to replace index.htm index.html

Try to find an article in the configuration of your Web site hosted by a website or web server configuration in real terms, ask your landlord for help and identify which files have been added in order to be treated as a site host.

This is usually index.html, but sometimes guests were different, and it could be more "

Index.htm first try might work.
